We are pleased to announce the addition of a geolocation filter on the homepage feed.

By default, the geolocation of your content corresponds to the city associated with your portfolio. However, for publications such as Event, Training, Collaboration, and Job/Casting, you can specify the city that corresponds to your offer.

Do you have an exhibition, a show, a screening, or a proposal for a meeting? Or perhaps a training offer, a workshop, a masterclass, or coaching? Maybe an artistic collaboration proposal, a job offer, or a casting call? We highlight all of these on the homepage of Artfolio using four new filters: Event, Training, Collaboration/Job/Casting.

And you don't need to do anything more than post this information on your portfolio, either on a dedicated page or in a news update. At the bottom of the usual form, you'll be asked for additional information with the field "Content Type" and the following 8 options:

🧍 Presentation: Bio, CV, services, rates, equipment/studio, press kit, links, acknowledgments, …
✨ Artworks/Artistic Performances (photos, videos, texts)
📢 News: Project, publication, release, award
🛠️ Update: Addition/modification of gallery, photo, page
📆 Event: Meeting, exhibition, performance, concert, screening
🎓 Training Offer: Workshop, course, masterclass, coaching
🤝 Collaboration: Proposal/availability for collaboration
💼 Job/Casting: Paid offer only

We used artificial intelligence to determine the content type for all publications already posted by users since the launch of our platform in October 2002. While there may be occasional misclassifications, overall, the results are very satisfying.

You can now browse available content using the filters Event, Training and Collaboration, and further refine your results by selecting an artistic category.

What's next? We will soon add the option to geolocate the content of your galleries, news, and pages (by default, the geolocation of an item will match that of the portfolio), allowing us to introduce a geolocation filter. In other words, users will be able to view events, training sessions, and collaborations near them, and also see an activity feed (including gallery activity) with results based on a defined location and radius.
