Online Sales Are Coming to Artfolio!

It's happening… online sales are coming to Artfolio.

We've been working on this feature for quite some time — and we've been busy! The sales module will be available on all portfolios within the next few days.

Starting this week, you'll be able to sell directly from your portfolio: physical artworks, as well as courses, services, workshops and digital content.

The idea is simple: to let you integrate sales naturally into your creative world. Your portfolio can now become both a showcase and an online store.

Some members will prefer to bring all their available creations together in one dedicated space. Others will choose to keep their works within their existing galleries. Some will create a specific page, while others will use the Shop tab.

Artfolio is also working on a new, much more flexible portfolio menu. This will give you even more freedom to organize and structure your creative world the way you want.

Alien Star is one of the first artists to have tested this new feature. She chose to create a gallery called “Paintings to Adopt”, dedicated to artworks currently available for purchase. It's a simple, personal and instantly understandable way to present her work to visitors.

Paintings to Adopt!

Alien Star agreed to test the online sales feature and share her first impressions with us.

Alien Star's Experience

“I was genuinely very pleasantly surprised by Artfolio's sales feature. I had been waiting for it for a long time because, for me, it was the only thing missing to make the platform complete!

Listing my artworks for sale was very simple and, above all, extremely user-friendly. Uploading my paintings was quick, easy and completely hassle-free.

I even received an enquiry about a sale as soon as I first listed my work, so that was an extremely positive start!

What I particularly appreciate is how smooth and simple everything feels. The whole system is designed so that you can showcase and sell your creations without having to deal with an overly complicated setup.

I had previously tried Shopify, which I found much more complex and which didn't really convince me, either in terms of visibility or cost. Artfolio also seems much more affordable for an artist.

I also noticed that putting my work up for sale gave my portfolio a boost: more views and more visits to my website. So it's interesting not only as a way to sell, but also as a way to give your work greater visibility.

In just a few words: simple, smooth, user-friendly and effective!

I'm really very happy with this new feature, which makes it easy to turn your portfolio into a genuine professional showcase while also giving you the possibility to sell your work directly.

For me, this is exactly the kind of tool artists need: straightforward, accessible, affordable and effective.”

We're Continuing to Improve Our Tools

The arrival of online sales is an important milestone, but it's only the beginning.

We are currently working on a new menu system to improve navigation on Artfolio and give members even more flexibility when organizing their portfolios.

We are also training our online support assistant on the sales feature. It will gradually become available to guide members and help answer any questions they may have about using it.

Just a Little More Patience…

Online sales will be available to all members this week.

The feature will be included in your Artfolio plan, and Artfolio will not charge any commission on your sales.
